HOW IT ALL STARTED
Visit us and you'll probably notice there’s a distinct South African influence on our food.
Ted learned his trade in Durban before working in pubs for Young's in London. Returning to South Africa, he opened and ran several very successful food and beverage ventures in Johannesburg.
Ted later returned to the UK, starting his own pub company in 2003 and Dion joined in 2004. Another South African, Dion had an impressive background working in London restaurants, as well as being a trained butler. Which goes some way towards explaining why good customer service is so high on our agenda.
