Henley Mutual Aid and Brakspear have joined forces to help Henley residents celebrate the VE Day anniversary in style on Friday 8th May, 2020.
Brakspear are offering a free drink to all town residents who were alive on VE Day in 1945 as part of a plan to see every household enjoy a tea party at home to mark the 75th anniversary of the day World War II ended.
Henley Mutual Aid, the volunteer-run organisation ensuring no-one is missed out of help and support during the Covid-19 outbreak, wanted to lift spirits and help people celebrate safely.
Redeemable only at The Bull on Bell Street, The Little Angel & The Crown at Playhatch.
Please email firstname.lastname@example.org with the full name, the date of birth, & the home address of recipient.
This event is in partnership with Henley Mutual Aid to celebrate the 75 Year Anniversary of VE Day.
With the recent news from the government allowing pubs and restaurants to reopen, our team is working very hard to get our pub ready for a safe and secure reopening.
However, with so much to do we won't be able to open for Saturday 4th July. This also means that you won't be able to book with us just yet... & even if you try to, your booking won't be accepted.
When we do reopen (which will be soon!) you'll spot a lot of visual cues to ensure everybody is maintaining the social distancing guidelines. We will be introducing additional signage to assist everybody in following the latest social distancing guidelines. As well as having an enhanced cleaning regime including regular cleaning of all key touch points.
In the meantime, please do sign up to our newsletter to be the first to hear about our reopening!
We can't wait to eventually see all our guests again.
